Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the role of meaningful occupation and occupational therapy in facilitating return-to-work (RTW) following injury.
- Explain the importance of an early, well-coordinated RTW process following road traffic accidents (RTAs).
- Describe the role of the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund Botswana in facilitating RTW for RTA claimants.
- Discuss the barriers to and facilitators of RTW for MVA Fund loss-of-income claimants across healthcare, legislative and insurance, personal, and workplace systems.
